Major warehouse and offices site to go under the hammer

A prominent Huthwaite industrial site with around 65,000 sq ft of warehouse space and offices buildings is to go under the hammer next month on the instructions of the joint receivers.

The former Trade Appliances premises in Common Road, Huthwaite is being offered for sale with full vacant possession. The site is expected to attract offers around £900,000 at an auction by Nottingham property agent heb on 15 February.

Matt Hilton, heb partner who will be auctioning the 4.32 acre site, said: “This is an attractively priced, secure, gated site with large car park and presents a fantastic opportunity to a large distributor of goods. The premises are just off the A38 close to junction 28 of the M1, giving very easy access to the region’s road network.

“The former Trade Appliances site offers a great opportunity to local – or national – firms looking to expand and take advantage of modern premises within a fenced and gated location.

“We are expecting a great deal of interest in the site – and are fully expecting a busy room. Such sites as this are hard to come by at this sort of price – and the lot has attracted a large number of enquiries.”

The lot comprises of two warehouses together totalling around 65,000 sq ft. The warehouses were built in the nineties and offer high bay warehousing with high quality three-storey offices.
