Prime site and building sells in Bognor Regis

Acting on behalf of Sime Darby London, Goadsby Commercial have sold the freehold interest in the former Widdowson Building and adjoining development site in Shripney Road, Bognor Regis. The site and building became surplus to requirements following the completion of the sale of the residue of the site to Sainsbury’s, who completed their new supermarket and petrol filling station at the end of 2012.

The sale included the manufacturing building comprising approximately 20,000 sq ft which was already occupied under a lease, and a development site comprises approximately 1.3 acres with planning permission for 20,000 sq ft of B1 industrial space.

Bill Parker of Goadsby Commercial reports, ‘there was good interest in the site, generated mainly by its proximity to the new supermarket. The sale is a good result and reinforces the need local businesses have for industrial sites and their long term commitment to Bognor Regis’.
