Independent property consultant GVA has appointed Tom Merrifield to the position of Head of Agency in its Cardiff office.
Working across both the industrial and office market sectors, Tom will continue to work with clients including CBRE Investors, Pramerica Real Estate Investors Ltd, Highcross Strategic Advisers, and Longford Investments on a number of established industrial and trade counter locations across the region.
Tom joins GVA from Fletcher Morgan, where he started as a graduate, going on to qualify as a chartered surveyor.

Over recent months GVA has been further expanding its team in Cardiff and has welcomed a number of other new recruits: John Stockley and Rhydian Sandbrook as Building Surveyors – John joins from DTZ and Rhydian transferred from GVA’s London office; Michael Southall, a Chartered Town Planner joining from Newport City Council; and Sahar Rezazadeh as a Graduate Surveyor who previously worked in GVA’s Birmingham office and in Savills Central London Retail Team.
