DTZ helps Gildersome Spur form new alliance

Acting on behalf of Orchard Street Investment Management, DTZ a UGL company has successfully advised on the letting of a 15,000 sq. ft warehouse / industrial facility at Gildersome Spur Industrial Estate in Leeds to Alliance Disposables, the national supplier of non-food products.

Signing a five year lease, Alliance Disposables has relocated to larger premises from its existing site in Birstall to service the Yorkshire region.

Gildersome Spur Industrial Estate is owned by Orchard Street’s client St. James’s Place UK plc and is the largest single owned industrial estate in Leeds comprising 470,000 sq ft in total. The estate is strategically positioned adjacent to Junction 27 of the M62 / M621 motorway and provides easy access to both Leeds city centre and the national motorway network.

Paul Mack, Associate Director at DTZ, comments: “The completion of this transaction with Alliance Disposables further demonstrates the quality of the premises on offer at Gildersome Spur Industrial Estate. Alliance Disposables needed a modern and high specification facility in a location that offers direct access on to the national motorway network. A programme of extensive refurbishment and proactive marketing has again borne fruit and we are delighted to have landed another national brand name at the estate.”

DTZ and Carter Towler are joint letting agents for the estate.
