Town Planning Manager (Hampshire)

A fantastic role has become available for a Town Planning Manager to join a boutique property company based in Hampshire. You will be joining a friendly office in the heart of Winchester.

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced planning manager capable of site assembly and necessary co-ordination of consultancy teams to deliver planning consents and maximise intrinsic value. You will be responsible for all planning matters across a wide-ranging portfolio of commercial, industrial, office and mixed-use developments across the South Coast, London and the South East.

The successful applicant will be a member of the RTPI, ideally with 5 – 10 years post qualification experience in town planning roles. You will have meticulous attention to detail, be numeric and proficient in Microsoft packages, be an excellent project manager and have all round technical planning expertise (including application based as well as a sound knowledge of local, regional and national policy). Private sector experience is preferred but not essential for the right person/experience.

The role will include:

• Site appraisal and identification of key risks.
• Planning feasibility report completion.
• Planning application assembly, coordination and engagement of consultant terms.
• Negotiation of S106/278 Agreements, monitoring and discharge of obligating pre-commencement conditions.
• Relevant expertise to keep projects on programme and in line with pre-determined budgets.

Ideally this is a full time role but there is flexibility around a reduced week and working hours for the right person.
