Town Planner – client-side (Bristol)

A rare and exciting client-side opportunity has arisen for a Town Planner to join an established property development company as they expand their team. The organisation operates internationally, however the Bristol office are working on one of the most exciting regeneration projects in the South-West.

The successful applicant must have relevant planning experience of at least 2 years, working within either a consultancy, developer or local-authority (development management). Ideally your background will include residential project experience and you must have an RTPI-accredited degree. You will also ideally hold a full UK driving license.

Predominant responsibilities will involve planning feasibility studies, appraisal work, preparing planning statements, working with and managing external consultants and assisting in the smooth delivery of project objectives in line with set deadlines. Candidates should have a good knowledge of local and regional planning policies, strong communication and report writing skills, excellent commercial awareness, good organisational skills and be able to work well under pressure.
