Senior Planner (Oxfordshire)

A great opportunity has arisen for a Senior Planner to join an expanding multi-disciplinary consultancy in Oxfordshire. This firm has a great reputation within the planning world and is offering a strong client base of existing work. We are looking for an MRTPI qualified town planner to work on a mixed portfolio of projects ranging from small scale mixed-use schemes to large scale residential developments as well as large renewable energy projects and leisure schemes. The work will be quite development management led but will also involve S106 negotiations, policy representation and site promotion work to offer a really diverse workload.

Ideally candidates will have professional knowledge of the South West, Thames Valley and central region, however relocators will also be considered. Candidates with consultancy experience are preferred but this is not essential. You should have a good grounding in application based work as well as good project management experience, excellent communication and report writing skills and be confident in client facing situations. At this level you will be encouraged to start leading on small-medium scale projects so it’s a great opportunity to improve your project management capability and widen your experience. As you work towards Principal and Associate level, you will be encouraged to build contacts of your own so you should enjoy networking situations and building/maintaining good client relationships.
