Senior Planner / Associate – Leeds

A leading national property consultancy has retained Beach Baker in it search for a new Senior Town Planner or Associate Town Planner to join their team at their offices in Leeds.

Due to a significant increase in work our client is seeking a talented experienced Town Planner to work closely alongside the Senior Directors in meeting the requirements of their enviable client base. As an established name with an excellent reputation in the market you will be working with a wide variety of clients, including commercial developers, land owners, property companies and house builders, where you will be involved in residential, mixed use, rural, and commercial developments.

To apply you will need to be fully MRTPI qualified or at the very least be looking to submit your APC in the near future. You will also ideally have a good amount of private sector experience under your belt, although should you be based within a local authority or developer at a similar level we will also consider you, what is important is that you are commercially minded. Due to the high expectations of their client base, your significant exposure to them and your negotiations with various third parties, an understanding of local planning policies, excellent written & verbal communication, and the ability to provide comprehensive planning advice is essential to the role.
