Beach Baker are pleased to be instructed by a leading planning consultancy to recruit a chartered Town Planner or Senior Planner to join their established Leeds office. This firm have an excellent reputation across the country and a long-standing client base with a very busy workload. You will be joining a friendly and supportive team in their office which is city centre based.

There is a really interesting mix of work to get stuck into, including (but not limited to); residential, commercial, mixed-use, retail, industrial and environmental schemes. Therefore, we are looking for a good range in project experience from candidates, confidence in project management and a good working knowledge of planning policy across the northern region. The work itself will include planning appraisals and feasibility work; preparing and submitting a variety of planning applications; S106 negotiations; development plan monitoring; providing bespoke planning advice to a wide client base including prestigious developers, property companies, land owners, retailers and high profile organisations. The company are very well-known in the market so you will have a strong name behind you, we are looking for confident networkers who can help to continue to strengthen this name building and enhancing both the company name but also your own profile for excellent service.

Candidates should be MRTPI qualified with current or recent consultancy experience, ideally gained from the Leeds/Northern region. You should be confident in client facing situations and enjoy a lot of client contact, managing your own workload with the ambition to progress through the firm. Many of the Directors within the firm joined themselves as Planner and Senior Planners.
