Beach Baker is working with a leading multinational property consultancy to recruit a Facilities Manager who will be responsible for a mixed portfolio of properties including Office Buildings, Retail Parks and Industrial Estates based primarily in the Edinburgh & Aberdeen areas.
The Facilities Manager will be responsible for managing the day to day operations for the portfolio including all hard and soft services; tenant liaison, contractor management, health & safety compliance and preparation and management of the annual service charge budgets. Some of the larger sites in the portfolio have support from a full time Building Manager.
The successful candidate will have previous experience within a multi-site facilities management role and have a strong understanding of service charge budget management. The ability to coordinate and manage on-site contractors is essential, as is the capability to negotiate ‘best price’. The ideal candidate will be a BIFM member and will have worked within a managing agent environment.
