Facilities Manager

My client is a leading property management firm with various investment clients across the UK. Together, we are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to take ownership for a brand-new building in Cambridge. This 40k sq ft property is primarily laboratory space and is currently particularly occupied following completion in March. You will be responsible for the day to day operationally running of this site including; all H&S compliance, regularly site inspections, tenant management, minor project works and management of the onsite contractors. Additional you will be accountable preparing and managing the service charge budget. This site has a ground floor restaurant and a large event space directly outside the building, therefore any potential candidates with experience in event management would be ideal.

We are looking for an experienced Facilities Manager, ideally with a proven background of working within a critical laboratory style environment. A previous role within a property management company would be preferable but is not essential. You will be IOSH qualified and confident in managing budgets.

This role is focused around relationship management both with the occupiers and the owner, therefore excellent communication skills are a must.
