Beach Baker Property Recruitment is pleased to be working with an independent South West commercial property company to recruit a Facilities Manager at their Truro office.

This person will work alongside a Senior Facilities Manager to manage a portfolio of 130 office, retail and light industrial properties across Devon & Cornwall. Duties will include liaising with tenants and FM contractors, arranging minor technical works, reporting on FM projects, carrying out site inspections and assisting with the day-to-day management of the property portfolio. The Facilities Manager will also be required to schedule PPM’s and deal with any reactive maintenance issues that arise on a daily basis.

The ideal candidate for this role will have a background in facilities and building maintenance, with a good working knowledge of Health & Safety. Qualifications such as IOSH or BIFM would be an advantage. Candidates should also have good communication skills and a proactive “can-do” attitude, with the ability to work as part of a team. A full UK drivers licence is essential.

A competitive salary and benefits package is on offer. Working hours are 8:30am – 5:30pm Monday to Friday. A company pool car or car allowance is provided for work-related travel.
