Beach Baker is delighted to be instructed by niche firm who is looking to recruit a Construction Project Manager. This company, established over 20-years’ ago, pride themselves on being a traditional property firm which is cash funded that own assets up to £60m which include a variety of commercial premises (mainly office and industrial) across the UK.
They currently outsource their project management services to an external consultancy and looking to bring this ‘in-house’ due to a busy pipeline of development work. You will help with the design, construction and lead estate management professionals and get the chance to get involved in the wider business such as business development and site acquisitions.
The preferred candidate will have a background in project delivery with strong technical skills working as a project manager, building surveyor or quantity surveyor (with Employers Agent experience) who is currently working for a consultancy, house-builder or other client-side organisation. The business own sites in the South West, Oxfordshire, London and South Coast, therefore candidates ideally need to live along the M4 corridor or South of Birmingham.
This is a home-based role and the business partners will consider someone working as a permanent employee, self-employed contractor or reduced hours basis.
