£36,000 – £41,000 (dependent on experience)

Our client, a multi-discipline property consultancy, is looking for a chartered building surveyor with a strong track record to join their Building Consultancy team. They offer a wealth of experience and knowledge in the public and private sectors and have a proven, award-winning, track record in the local regional market.

You will be joining a team which young and dynamic with clear pathways for career progression and development. The sole purpose of the role is to advise clients on design and construction of buildings, advising also on condition, maintenance and repair.

Duties and Responsibilities.

• Ensuring projects are completed on budget and to schedule.
• Preparing scheme designs with costings, programmes for completion of projects and specification of works.
• Preparation of designs, specification and documents for tender and advice on appointing contractors, designers and procurement routes.
• Determine the condition of existing buildings, identifying and analyzing defects, including proposals for repair.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Building Surveying and hold a professional qualification e.g. MRICS, MCIOB. The position offers a very competitive base salary and a generous package with and an excellent professional development program.
