Block Manager

Posted on: 07/09/2016 ~

I am working exclusively with a market leader in the wider Bristol area to recruit a residential block manager for a well-established, privately owned business with several offices. They have grown from strength to strength in the last 30 years and provide a premium service that justifies higher management fees. This will give you access to a high quality portfolio that will keep your professional interest and above average company benefits to keep you rewarded.

Joining an established team with local accounts and dedicated maintenance support, if not already MIRPM, you will be supported to attain industry qualifications and progress to AssocRICS as time and experience allows. My client offers a friendly team environment with low turnover of staff, strong company benefits to include time off in lieu for evening meetings, to 5% pension contribution, profit share on new management fees and major works administration and other benefits – ring me for further information.

With a portfolio that is largely resident management company led, we are looking to introduce candidates with strong communication and customer service skills and preferably experience working with period buildings, high end conversions and purpose built blocks.

If you are an existing block property manager in Bristol, a re-locator or returner or working in another sector such as; Facilities Management, a Registered Social Landlord or Local Authority, Commercial or Residential Service Charge accounting or Insurance Claims and like a varied, busy role, I would like to hear from you.

You will have some or all of the following attributes; skills in customer services, possess client facing confidence, have technical built environment knowledge, be financially and figures savvy, have good organisational ability and a commitment to going the extra mile for clients.

Duties will include service charge formulation, responding to maintenance requests, inspecting internal communal areas, overall fabric of buildings, grounds, associated services such as lifts, utilities consumption, shared TV systems, pumped water systems etc and completing relevant visit reports, handling or referring insurance claims, being able to interpret building plans and running your own AGMs and RMC Director meetings.
