SIOR Europe has just welcomed its latest intake of members as part of the organisation’s strategic focus on growing its international footprint.
The latest recruits to SIOR’s European Regional Chapter are: Matthias Schiel from NAI Austria; Wilfried Widmann of Berendes Consulting Group in Germany; Guido Nabben of Anteon in Germany, Nick McCalmont-Woods of McCalmont Woods Real Estate in the UK and Warren Percival who joins as an associate member from the RSK Group in the UK.
Paul McDowell, president of SIOR Europe, said: “With a clear mandate from our colleagues in the US to expand our European membership, we have embarked on an active recruitment campaign over the course of this year. This will continue with a calendar of events to showcase SIOR and to engage with prospective new members who represent the best in office and industrial agency.
We also have a strong pipeline of membership applications awaiting approval and look forward to welcoming more new members later in the year.”
SIOR has some 3,300 members worldwide collectively responsible for over $12bn in transactions annually. In recognition of real estate’s increasing global diversity, SIOR is implementing an international growth strategy to increase representation in Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
Another key component of the organisation’s European growth will be the SIOR European World Conference, being held in Dublin in July 2020.
