The new appointments take GN2 to a team of twelve, with five directors. The new directors join existing directors Julie Rees, Charles Godfrey and Paul Aubery. In addition, Tim Warren heads the Investment department.

Tim Powell- Harper and Chris Jakes have the remit to develop GN2’s professional services further which will include valuation, lease renewal and rent review advice, management, rating and compulsory purchase. However their extensive experience in other sectors now widens the company’s consultancy ability in Retail, Education, Leisure, Restaurants and Industrial capabilities.

Julie Rees, Managing Director at GN2 said, “Tim and Chris have considerable experience and high reputation on the professional side of the commercial property business and have been advising blue chip clients for many years. Their decision to join GN2 means we can provide a full one-stop service to our clients, many of which want to develop a relationship with one practice, but also appreciate the personal approach we can provide.”

She added, ” This is not the end of our expansion plans- we still plan to grow and develop further and will be making further announcements in the year ahead.”

Tim Powell-Harper said, “This is a fantastic move for both myself and my team to enable us all to develop in such a well-respected environment. We are delighted to find other professional kindred spirits at GN2 who also adopt a client first approach and to widen their offer. 2019 is already looking full of opportunity.”

GN2 had a busy year in 2018. The firm advised both landlords and tenants across Central London, including acquiring Charles Taylor’s new 66,000 sq ft HQ at Minster Court EC3 and advising the Howard de Walden Estate on four lettings in Welbeck Street, Marylebone. The practice is also well known for its advice in the medical sector and has a number of new appointments advising medical companies looking to expand in the West End.
