Planning consent granted for Avonmouth Industrial Park

Construction work will soon begin at Portside Park, a new development in Avonmouth set to bring more than 150,000 sq ft of industrial space to the area and create around 400 new jobs.

CBRE Bristol acquired the site for Barwood Capital and Trebor Developments, which has now secured detailed planning consent for development from Bristol City Council. CBRE and Hartnell Taylor Cook have been instructed as joint agents to dispose of the new units.

Located on Kings Weston Lane, Avonmouth, Portside Park is easily reached from Junction 18 of the M5 and will also be accessible from Junction 1 of the M49 on its completion towards the end of 2019.

All units will be built to a high quality specification, offering flexible accommodation across a range of sizes from 12,500 sq ft to 87,247 sq ft.

“Avonmouth is Bristol’s most established industrial and distribution area and, given Portside Park’s ideal location plus high quality specification, we expect strong demand for the new units,” said James Drew, Trebor Developments.

With planning now granted, construction is due to start on the site in January, with units expected to be completed by Summer 2019.

Trebor Developments and Barwood Capital are represented by James Morgan of CBRE and Simon Harvey of Hartnell Taylor Cook LLP.
