Buzz Group shouts ‘bingo’ as it secures Nottingham HQ

Savills, on behalf of Buzz Group Ltd, has acquired office space in New Castle House, in Nottingham. The property is owned by The Local Authorities’ Property Fund which is managed by CCLA, who was advised by the Nottingham office of JLL.

Now trading as Buzz Bingo, the largest retail bingo operator in the UK has agreed to a new lease for space totalling 35,000 sq ft (3,251 sq m), one of the largest recent office lettings in Nottingham. The company has taken two floors of the four storey Grade II Listed art deco building which is prominently situated in the city centre.

Ian Muxlow, director in the commercial team at Savills Nottingham, comments: “New Castle House is the ideal location for Buzz Bingo’s HQ, providing large floor plates and generous car parking provision in a great central location. We are very pleased to have negotiated this space on the company’s behalf, especially due to the size of the requirement and the limited vacant stock available in and around Nottingham.”

Roy Halliday from the CCLA, adds: “We are pleased to have secured Buzz Group Ltd as a tenant at New Castle House, alongside Interoute and UPS. We have continued to invest in the building and in turn Nottingham, enhancing the condition and value of the asset along with the quality of tenant mix. This is another significant letting for the building which I am delighted to say is now fully occupied. ”

James Keeton, director at letting agent JLL, says: “We are delighted to have secured another high profile and significant letting within Nottingham. In line with our strategic advice, CCLA on behalf of The Local Authorities Property Fund has invested heavily in New Castle House, demonstrating their confidence within the Nottingham market and reflective of pent up demand for high quality office space. This has once again been rewarded with a long term letting to Buzz Group Limited and continued success for our client.”
