BNP Paribas Real Estate’s Birmingham office has welcomed an influx of new directors, to build upon its already impressive track record in the city.

Mark Robinson has joined as Head of Agency, with a particular focus on the office market. Mark will grow the presence of BNPPRE across the Birmingham, M42 and Solihull markets as well as the wider West Midlands and build an agency offering to match the already successful investment team in Birmingham. He joins following seven years at KWB, a Birmingham-based commercial property agent, bringing with him a wealth of local knowledge.

Mark’s appointment follows a string of new hires for the office. Gary Williamson has joined as Head of Building Surveying for the Midlands Region. Gary has over 20 years’ experience and is tasked with managing the growing Building Surveying team based in Birmingham. During his time in the industry, Gary has worked with companies, such as Boots, M&G and Aviva.

The Lease Advisory team has also welcomed a new arrival. Paul Milsom has joined from Johnson Fellows where he accrued over 17 years’ specialist experience, predominantly working for large retailers including Tesco, Lidl and Bathstore.

These new appointments have also been complemented by a number of other new senior arrivals to the multi-discipline office, including Matthew Greenaway who joined the Valuation team in June from Rapleys.

The growth of the Birmingham office follows a string of new contracts and successes. Earlier this year the investment team acquired The Cube, the largest transaction in central Birmingham during the first half of 2018, while the Client Finance team secured a five-year contract with national client Transport for London.

Simon Robinson, Head of the BNP Paribas Real Estate’s Birmingham office, commented: “Birmingham is in the midst of an exciting period of transformation, so we are delighted to welcome our new senior colleagues to the team. With the commercial property landscape across the city constantly evolving, these new appointments will further boost our offering and ensure our clients receive the best possible advice and guidance. By expanding our team further we aim to build on our recent successes over the coming months.”
