West Bromwich warehouse fits the bill for Esprit

Buoyant demand for Black Country warehouses has seen agents Bond Wolfe complete another deal.

A warehouse and yard at the corner of Bell Street and Spon Lane in West Bromwich has been bought by local fit out company Esprit UK Limited

Esprit are based in Spon Lane on the town ring road, and were seeking additional storage space.
The 2,500 sq. ft. complex is situated close to the new Sandwell College, with easy access to the M5 motorway and Black Country Spine Road.

A deal was struck within two weeks of it going on the market.

James Mattin, managing partner of Bond Wolfe, said: “This is further evidence of strong industrial demand locally.

“It has been bought as part of Esprit UK Limited’s on-going expansion.”

Trevor Dubberley, Managing Director of Esprit, said: “Due to our manufacturing expansion and current demands for export joinery we are looking for additional warehousing.

“When this came up it seemed an ideal opportunity. So we made contact with Bond Wolfe who are near neighbours and we know them well, so we were able to come to agreement quite quickly.”

Law firm Quality Solicitors Clarke Brookes Turner Carey acted for the seller and Millichips for Esprit UK Limited.

Mr Mattin added: “Bond Wolfe has emerged as the leading local agents for this type of stock.

“Indeed, further opportunities recently placed on the market are already attracting interest including 80 Pikehelve Street, Hill Top, West Bromwich, which is for sale or to let.”

A 3,500 sq ft warehouse with offices, the asking price is £150,000.
