staffbay.com posts landmark Year One figures

staffbay.com, the interactive social media jobs website, is celebrating its first anniversary by posting a significant landmark. Some 3,042 employers have registered with the Nottingham-based job search service in its first 12 months, marking a stellar first year.

Breaking through the 3,000 employer mark means that, on average, more than 50 new employers are searching for candidates on staffbay.com each week, a figure that co-owners Tony Wilmot and Elliot Kidd think is rising each week.

Tony said: “Over the last few weeks we’ve seen nearly 100 new employers register a week. Coupled with the news that unemployment is finally falling, we think that the future is bright for jobseekers.”

staffbay.com might only be a year old, but it is fast-catching up with its more established rivals.

Elliot said: “To smash the 3,000 employers mark in our first year is something we’re very proud of, but we’re not going to rest on our laurels. We want to double that number in the next six months and really push on to help people land the jobs they want and need.  We’re providing a key service in difficult times for employees and employers and our work has only just begun.”

Staffbay.com, a free to use employment website, offers candidates a chance to build a multimedia profile which is searchable and viewable to potential employers.

Instead of expensive fees for adverts and database searches with no guarantee of success for employers, staffbay.com allows free vacancy advertising and free candidate database searches.

Rather than limiting candidates to an uploaded CV, staffbay.com provides a simple to use career profile builder including videos, messaging, webcam Skype chat and a whole lot more for employers to review, all designed to help candidate and employer get to know more about each other – and that’s all before you even consider dedicating time, effort and travel to physical interviews.

Rolls-Royce and Volkswagen are amongst the latest big names to sign up to the website. Others include Nationwide, Imperial Tobacco, The Body Shop, Avon Cosmetics and Tottenham Hotspur Football Club.
