Ktsowensthomas Invests in Partnership with Wealth Management Firm

Ktsowensthomas, leading accountancy firm has today announced it has entered into a strategic initiative with AWD Chase de Vere (AWD), independent financial advisers and wealth management firm, in order to extend its service offering to its client base.

The initiative comes following a demand for value added, high quality financial advice from ktsowensthomas clients, on topics such as private wealth management and investment, pension provisioning, auto-enrolment and the National Employment Saving Trust (NEST).

Andrew Turner, Personal Tax Director at ktsowensthomas comments, “We were looking for a credible organisation, with strong international links and a superb reputation for delivering effective and client-orientated independent financial advice.  After a rigorous tender process – of which a number of companies were involved – we chose AWD.

“From the offset we were impressed by AWD’s attention to detail and their emphasis on providing an independent, focused and tailored service to meet the requirements of their client base.  Not only did AWD fit our original criteria but the company’s business values of trust, customer orientation, quality and professionalism were an excellent cultural fit and are strongly aligned with our 3-dimensional approach to our service delivery.

“Furthermore, AWD has access to the latest market trends and movements as well as specialist advisers in their teams which can provide reliable advice in areas such as the medical and corporate sector.  Through AWD, we will be able to help our clients decide where and how to invest their money.

“Another hot topic to be addressed will be the imminent arrival of auto-enrolment – new legislation designed for employers to provide work based pensions.  This starts to become effective from October of this year.  AWD will work closely with us to provide our clients with effective solutions and planning to tackle these new employer obligations.”

Jeremy Davies, Senior Manager at AWD Chase de Vere said, “We are excited to be working with Andrew and the rest of the team at ktsowensthomas.  We believe that our specialist knowledge will help their clients with some of the changes that are currently going on in business legislation as well as advising their private clients on financial options that are available to them.

“Ktsowensthomas is an extremely dynamic, progressive and forward thinking accountancy firm and one that is well known for its excellent reputation in Cardiff and across South Wales.  We firmly believe that this partnership will provide benefits to both of our respective client bases. It will also aid us in extending our reach into the South Wales market place, providing exceptional financial advice to existing and prospective clients.

Mr Turner, concludes, “We are delighted to be working with AWD and we look forward to offering our clients their respected independent financial advice.  There is a lot of synergy between the two organisations and I have no doubt that our work together will provide greater resource and bigger benefits to our combined client base.  Additionally, in the long term, this collaboration will help build the Welsh business community and increase potential networking opportunities.”
