M&G Real Estate appoints Equiem to launch digital tenant engagement platform

M&G Real Estate has appointed global proptech and services company, Equiem, to launch a digital property management system, which will streamline communications and operations at one of its most prestigious business park assets – The Heights, in Weybridge, Surrey.

Equiem will introduce a series of measures aimed to improve communications with occupiers, providing M&G Real Estate with previously unobtainable insights into the needs and preferences of its tenants, whilst allowing the entire workforce to be heard. This information will be used to improve future planning for works, create a comprehensive customer engagement strategy and help budget allocation.

Separately, the newly developed ‘Equiem Spaces’ service will enable tenants to unlock value in their underused or vacant space and meeting rooms by arranging short-term rentals with other organisations at The Heights. Equiem will also establish a click-and-collect store and provide the business community with up to date news and events.

Aaron Pope, Director – Asset Management at M&G Real Estate, says: “Today’s occupiers expect well-managed assets offering new and innovative working environments which promote wellbeing. If we make life easy for our customers, we are essentially ensuring our assets are an obvious choice when it comes to choosing new office space.

“The introduction of these new services is a step change in the way we engage with our tenant base. Not only can we offer our tenants high quality flexible office space to cater to all their demands, but also the necessary facilities to ensure the wellbeing and high productivity of a happy workforce.”

Laura Acklandiene, Head of Global Expansion – UK at Equiem, adds: “It’s been our absolute pleasure partnering with M&G Real Estate and we look forward to bringing the ultimate experience to its occupiers. The Heights already has a great team championing the sense of community in this business park and we look forward to supercharging their efforts with our technology and services.

“This partnership demonstrates how the commercial real estate industry continues to turn its focus toward improving the engagement and overall customer experience for occupiers.”
