Access 18 brings further inward investment to Avonmouth as four more occupiers move in

This month sees four more commercial occupiers take up residence, alongside the 14 existing businesses, at Avonmouth’s £150m Access 18 development, as land owner and developer, St. Modwen, accelerates its speculative building to meet market demand.

Commercial Electrical Factors (CEF), the UK’s largest electrical wholesaler/supplier, moves into a 23,842 sq ft unit to help fulfil customer orders and support the growth of its online business.

GB Liners, a leading UK removal and storage company, occupies a neighbouring 10,360 sq ft unit to take advantage of the site’s close proximity to the M5 as it looks to further expand and grow operations in line with customer demand.

International pharma logistics firm, O&M Movianto takes over a 35,400 sq ft warehousing unit to service the needs of its healthcare customers and their patients while food manufacturer, Plant-Ex Ingredients, moves into an 8,200 sq ft unit at Access 18 to service and grow its customer base.

These four units are the latest to complete as part of an ongoing programme of speculative building at Access 18, which is delivering around 435,000 sq ft of prime location logistics and production space across 2018 with a potential for over 400 new jobs for the area.

Peter Davies, Development Director for St. Modwen West and Wales, said:

“Our speculative building programme at Access 18 is accelerating this year to meet national and local demand for good quality industrial and logistics space close to the M5. It’s also part of our longer-term strategy to focus on the growth potential of the UK industrial and logistics sector. These latest new occupiers will be in good company at Access 18 which is already home to over 14 companies including big names such as Nisbets catering equipment, Kent Foods, Hermes Parcelnet Ltd and Budget Greetings Cards.”
