Pure Offices poised to open new centre at The Blade, Reading

Serviced office provider Pure Offices is set to open its 20th centre at Reading’s landmark office building, The Blade. The operator has appointed Collette Naylor as centre manager to oversee the running of the 40-unit centre which will launch its 4th floor accommodation on 3 April, followed by the unveiling of the 3rd floor space in May.

Pure Offices has chosen The Blade for its first Reading centre and its 20th in the UK. It will incorporate more than 40 offices to accommodate between 1 and 20 people. The flexible space is designed to meet the needs of both innovative start-ups and established regional businesses. The centre will offer a first-class working environment where businesses can access meeting rooms, a business lounge, break out space, telephony and fast broadband.

Pure Offices was founded in 2007 and has built a comprehensive portfolio of serviced offices across the UK. The clear and affordable pricing structure has appealed to a range of occupiers along with highly flexible rolling licence agreements.

Pure’s Reading centre is likely to attract interest from a range of sectors, with occupiers enjoying the benefits of joining a vibrant community of like-minded businesses. Alongside the physical space, businesses benefit from a busy events programme, designed to keep occupiers informed and encourage interaction

The Blade is located a few minutes walk of Reading train station which has excellent links to London, Paddington and the national rail network. Pure’s opening coincides with a comprehensive refurbishment of The Blade building. Owner Northwood Regional is undertaking a three-month project to renovate Reading’s tallest tower by reconfiguring the reception area and refreshing common parts.

Pure Offices Managing Director Katie Whell said: “The opening of our 20th centre is the latest stage of our ambitious expansion programme. The Blade is an iconic building and offers the perfect opportunity to capture the Reading market, offering businesses quality space on flexible terms.”
