Office interior specialists celebrate record-breaking year

Rob Rossiter - CBOF Group

Cardiff-based CBOF Group is celebrating record turnover in its 16th year of business after a series of key contract wins and consistent growth.

The privately-run business specialises in the design and fit out of modern, flexible and inspiring workspaces for organisations across the UK.

CBOF, which was founded by Colin Rossiter in 2001 and is now managed by son Robert Rossiter, saw turnover reach just over £2.3M this year.

Speaking of the firm’s success, Robert said: “This is an incredibly exciting time in our business. Ever since the business was set up in 2001, we have envisaged a business that catered for small, local businesses all the way up to large multi-sited corporations. Regardless of the size of the client, we have placed their best interests at the heart of everything we have done since day one. It’s all down to the hard work of all those part of the CBOF family as well as a dedication to providing stellar customer service. A business is nothing without its people, and likewise its customers. That’s why we focus so much on doing the right job with the right people.”

Based in Cardiff Bay, the business counts General Motors Financial, New Law Solicitors, General Electric, New Directions Recruitment, Costain Group and DevOpsGuys as its clients.

Robert said: “Cardiff is a great city to do business; many of our long-standing clients are based here as well as the surrounding areas. However, what has stood us in good stead is the connectivity with the rest of the country. We have undertaken projects all over the UK and the coming few years, whilst challenging, will see this connectivity further enhanced with the electrification of the railway from London to Cardiff and the scrapping of the Severn Bridge tolls a huge positive for south Wales.”

A contributing factor to the success of the business was the decision to reinvest in key areas.

Mr Rossiter said: “We have just invested in our online presence which will help future-proof the business. It is vitally important that we work to increase the awareness and understanding of CBOF online and in the region as well as sustain our key relationships with strategic partners that bring in business offline.”
