A unique trade and exhibition event which attracts exhibitors and delegates from the across the East Midlands will this year turn the spotlight on the key factors to economic success.

The East Midlands Expo – incorporating the eighteenth annual Property & Business Investment Show – takes place at the East Midlands Conference Centre, University Park in Nottingham, on Monday 9th October.

Sponsors BSD Consulting Engineers, Galliford Try, Chatty Imp and Invest East Midlands are all looking forward to the event, along with nearly 70 exhibitors, mainly from within the property, construction, professional services and finance and investment sectors.

The event, which is free to attend, is the only one of its kind in the East Midlands and continues to provide a platform to promote the services and products of related businesses with face-to-face networking opportunities.

For exhibitors, the East Midlands Expo provides an opportunity to present and discuss their offerings with delegates who are looking for such services and products.

“Each year the event results in significant business transactions – testimony to the success of the event and in its effectiveness of matching buyers and suppliers,” said organiser Tina King.

Delegate entry remains free to attend both the exhibition and seminar, with the added bonus of free parking and WIFI at the venue.

The 2017 seminar Key Factors to Economic Success features keynote speakers Peter Watson, from Chatty Imp, focusing on “Social Media Marketing – it’s more than just hiring an intern”, Alastair Cunningham, from the Bank of England, who will give insights into “The Outlook for the UK Economy”, and Jon Marston and Neus Garriock from Galliford Try, who will talk about “East Midlands Construction – A Contractor’s Perspective”.

“We have a networking lunch for those wanting to meet and eat, an ideal opportunity to continue discussions, as well as meeting new contacts, over a relaxed lunch,” said Tina.

The event attracts a wide variety of exhibitors and delegates including professional intermediaries, environmental consultants, engineering consultants, contractors, financiers and brokers, estate and property agents, landowners, property developers, construction companies, interior design, marketing and PR agencies.

Tina added: “We are a unique event, specifically marketed and aimed at a well-targeted audience – mainly those working with, in, along and around the property, construction, professional services, business, finance and investment sectors – to ensure both our exhibitors and delegates get the opportunity to meet new contacts and clients that are needed to grow and enhance business opportunities.”
