Substantial freehold sales in Leicester as electrical firm relocates

Tim Gilbertson of FHP is often used to being put under pressure by clients who need both the classic “quick sale” but also at “the best price possible!”

Never more so has this been the case with two recent sales that have been completed in Leicester on behalf of an existing client, Mark Smithson, owner of Mark’s Electrical.

Tim Gilbertson takes up the story:

“When long term client, Mark Smithson, rang me up towards the end of 2016 to tell me he was moving it came as quite a shock.  Having only sold his former premises in Bardon, a variety of warehouse space some 18 months previously, the success of his business dictated a move to larger premises still and therefore he needed a sale of his two new buildings in Leicester on Elland Road completing quickly and at the best price possible.”

“His instructions were crystal clear and it was again a pleasure to deliver two quick sales for Mark to enable his further expansion and relocation to run through smoothly, with the sale of both buildings completing less than 5 months from the commencement of marketing”.

“Unit 1 Elland extended to well over 40,000ft², whilst Unit 2 offered over 20,000ft² of excellently specified warehouse space.  Both were well received in the market and after a full marketing campaign offers were made which were acceptable for both buildings and the sales were concluded before the end of May 2017.  Therefore, from initial contact to completion of the sales took just over 5 months with a capital receipt running into many millions and all this achieved within a very tight timescale, a pleasure again to meet and once more exceed my client’s expectations”.

Mark Smithson owner of the buildings commented:

“Once again Tim at FHP has come up trumps, he managed last time to sell 4 warehouses at Bardon Hill in a short time frame and this time he managed to sell two warehouses in a tighter time frame still. Without his expertise the deal probably wouldn’t have completed.

He is extremely reliable and always rings you back, which is a lot more than can be said for some of the competition. Well done Tim and thanks again.”

Tim Gilbertson continued:

“It has been a pleasure to deal with Mark again and I wish him well for the future.  When he needs to expand once more though hopefully he will give me a little more time so the pressure is not quite as intense but as ever the customer is always right and it was a pleasure to deliver once more for this very valued client”.
