Manchester-based PR and marketing agency Roland Dransfield has won a number of significant new retained accounts.

The new appointments come as the Spinningfields-based agency was named Small PR Agency of 2017 in the Prolific North Awards, which celebrate excellence in the creative and media industries.

Continuing to build on recent growth, the 15-strong agency, has been appointed to lead on a number of Greater Manchester-based property accounts.

These include placemaking briefs for Hillcrest Homes, the luxury homebuilding arm of property developer Nikal and Gener8 Developments, a private regeneration investor and developer.

At the same time, they have been appointed by Tesco Pension Fund to support the PR and marketing of Dalton Place during the redevelopment of the building, which is located on John Dalton Street in Manchester.

Managing director Lisa Morton said: “Roland Dransfield will celebrate its 21st year in business this September and continues to go from strength-to-strength.

“Our offering is as compelling as ever and we are delighted to be able to support our new clients in achieving their business objectives.

“These new wins will further accelerate our strategic growth plans and enable us to recruit more specialist team members to enable the agency to flourish.

“What with the Prolific North win, a raft of new business wins and our 21st anniversary in the horizon, the entire team is hugely excited about the agency’s future.”

Roland Dransfield has also been appointed by Equilibrium, an award-winning chartered wealth management company, to deliver media relations and digital support.

Headquartered in Wilmslow, Equilibrium’s advisers oversee more than £600 million worth of assets for their clients and were recently named in the Sunday Times Best Companies to Work For 2017.

Equilibrium’s managing partner Gaynor Rigby said: “We approached Roland Dransfield because we had seen the impressive results they had achieved for their existing clients in the media.

“They took the time to really get to know us and what we were looking for from an agency which stood out.

“We were particularly impressed with their overall approach to profile building – their innovative ideas and creativity in developing PR campaigns really shone through.

“We quickly learnt that the agency has an experienced and friendly team who take the time to listen to what we need and the contacts to help us build meaningful relationships.”
