In difficult times Cannock hotel supports Staffordshire new business

During a climate which means times are difficult for any new start up business, a Staffordshire business is getting a helping hand from The Ramada Hotel in Cannock.

The hotel is donating potential packaging to a new start-up business called Schoolcraft Ltd, which is based on Brookside Business Park, Uttoxeter. The Business provides supplies of educational and art materials.

The donation from the hotel of packaging means the business does not have to spend money on buying packaging and as it is all-recycled the packaging is also not creating any waste.

The hotel started to recycle its paper waste as part of an initiative to support Earth Hour (March 29th) which is organised by the World Worldlife fund, for businesses to be more aware of the energy they use.

The staff now shred all the paper waste and by donating it to a local business is supporting the earth as well as the local business community.

Schoolcraft owner Alison Taylor said: “I am very grateful to the hotel for all the help and the support it gives me as a new business by saving money and time.”
