A Bristol property firm is set to sponsor a major industry event.

Almeda Facilities have been named as the title sponsor at BIFM’s South West Quarterly Training Day, taking place on September 16.

BIFM’s Quarterly Training Days take place throughout the year and provide an opportunity for BIFM members to come together and discuss relevant topics within the industry.

Previous themes in 2016 have included ‘Security planning and awareness’ and ‘Environmental management’. The final session of the year will focus on ‘Understanding the principles of your commercial leases and legislation update’.

Held at the Hilton Bristol Hotel on September 16, this Quarterly Training Day will look at legislation and compliance.

Almeda Facilities is a fast-growing Keynsham based total FM and foodservice provider that has achieved exponential growth in the last couple of years. They work with iconic buildings such as Bristol & Bath Science Park, Arnolfini and SS Great Britain, as well as a host of manufacturers and businesses.

Operations Directors Richard Frost and Gordon Cox will take centre stage for the keynote speech that opens the event.

They will reflect on hot topics surrounding compliance and legislation in regards to both Almeda’s FM offering and foodservice, Food with Passion.

Brady George, MD at Almeda, comments on Almeda’s sponsorship of the event: “It is estimated that the FM sector contributes around £111 billion a year to the UK economy, so it is of huge strategic important to UK PLC. It’s also a sector that is not afraid to evolve and innovate.
