Goadsby’s Building Consultancy Department have been instructed by the landlord to produce an itemised Schedule of Works for a property in Fordingbridge High Street. They will obtain tenders from contractors and supervise external redecorations through to completion. Their specialist skills are required to comply with the Council’s stringent measures as the property is Grade II Listed.
As the total cost of the works is more than £250 per flat the landlord is required to consult with the residential long leaseholders prior to instructing works in accordance with Section 20 of the Landlord & Tenant Act 1985. The landlord has approved Property Management to deal with this process in close liaison with Building Consultancy to ensure the works are completed properly and efficiently whilst ensuring the correct legal procedure is followed.
