GCW announces management changes as it looks to broaden its service offer

Martyn Pitt, newly appointed CEO of GCW

GCW has strengthened its management team with the appointment of Martyn Pitt as CEO. Simultaneously co-founder Keith Whale has stepped down as a partner while remaining actively involved in the business as a consultant.

The moves are part of GCW’s strategy to broaden its service offer, invest in new talent and draw through younger members of the team into more senior roles.

Director Duncan Kite said: “GCW has a strong, established brand that is well respected across the retail property industry. We have an exciting five year plan for the business under Martyn’s stewardship and an important part of this remains Keith’s vast knowledge and experience ”

Martyn is a chartered accountant and has advised a range of businesses on financial and management issues. He has provided regular strategic consultancy advice to GCW since its launch 26 years ago.

Keith specialises in all aspects of retail investment throughout the UK. He also regularly advises both owners and occupiers of premises ranging from prime shops to large stores. Keith is on the RICS panel of Arbitrators and Independent Experts and regularly accepts appointments on rent review and lease renewal disputes relating to supermarkets and department stores.
