BDO LLP is moving its 250-strong team into 25,000 sq ft of new office space at Two Snowhill next week (7 Dec) as the firm continues to invest in its Birmingham audit, tax and advisory offering.

Accountancy and business advisory firm BDO, which has been at 125 Colmore Row for the last 12 years, says the new state of the art building adjacent to Snow Hill station means improved client service, an enhanced working environment for employees and room for growth.

Richard Rose, partner and head of BDO LLP in Birmingham, said: “The new floor space will boost productivity and provide greater efficiency in how we serve clients.  We are currently dispersed among different floors across our existing offices.  We are now able to position our entire 250 people on one floor, allowing for more integration and cohesion and, importantly, our speed in responding to our clients’ needs.”

“We were fortunate to find such a great space close to our current office.  We really wanted to limit the impact of our relocation on our clients and people.

“The region is experiencing real growth and investment, especially as the devolution debate picks up speed and Birmingham is put firmly back on the map as a great place to live and work. Our new location and enhanced operational efficiencies will help us continue to grow and evolve, and to keep pace with our clients’ needs.”

The move comes soon after BDO appointed two new partners to the firm. Audit partner Andrew Mair joined from PwC and Kyla Bellingall, a partner specialising in the not-for-profit sector, joins from Grant Thornton in Birmingham.
