Leading Birmingham-based mechanical services specialist J S Wright has expanded its project management team by recruiting an experienced new Quantity Surveyor.

Danny Sibbons has over 20 years’ experience in building services, having previously been a senior surveyor with a mechanical and electrical engineering contractor in Kent.

Based at the London office of Aston-based J S Wright, Danny started his career as a technical apprentice with one of the UK’s first building services consultancies. His project experience includes working on Hong Kong’s Chek Lap Kok international airport.

He is already working on the landmark Nine Elms Point residential development on the south bank of the River Thames in London where J S Wright has a £20m contract to fit out 645 luxury homes within seven metallic buildings.

Marcus Aniol, Managing Director of J S Wright, said: “Danny’s cost consultancy experience and expertise will prove invaluable as we continue to secure high-end projects as a result of our successful relationships with leading developers, especially in London and the South East.”

Founded in 1890, J S Wright specialises in the design and installation of mechanical services for the hotel, residential, social housing, student accommodation, leisure and commercial sectors. The company was named UK Building Services Contractor of the Year at this year’s H&V News Awards.
