Creative Risk Solutions scores a try with Three Stones Media

Creative Risk Solutions, leading corporate risk management brokers, today announced it has completed its insurance deal with award winning production company, Three Stones Media.

The specialist broker was selected to create a bespoke deal for the organisation’s theatre productions across England of Broken Time; a new play that explores the social upheavals that split the world of rugby in 1895.

Eugenio Perez, producer at Three Stones Media commented; “We have a long and trusted relationship with CRS, as we previously worked with them on our children’s TV show Rastamouse.  We felt it was beneficial to choose a company who are well versed in the industry and with whom we had a strong history. From the onset, CRS’ credentials and experience of working within the media industry was evident.  They instantly knew our business model, so it was an obvious choice to go with a provider that could create a solution that met our specific requirements.”

Specifically with Broken Time, CRS was able to identify the company’s unique needs and the potential risks associated with performing at different venues in unfamiliar surroundings.

“As a producer I want to ensure the play runs smoothly at every location, without the extra burden of wondering about the risks or costs involved with locations, cast members getting injured, or equipment getting damaged”, adds Jude Wright, tour producer at Three Stones Media.  “As ever CRS were able to provide us with the comfort that we were protected from all the associated risks and ensured the deal was compliant with our contractual and legal requirements.  This enabled me to concentrate on what I do best – producing great entertainment.”

Jan Wilkins, Managing Director, Creative Risk Solutions commented; We’re thrilled to be working with Three Stones Media again and supporting the company on producing a fabulous and entertaining play.  With any insurance deal, it’s key that the final solution meets the client’s specifications.  In particular, media production can be a challenging industry and not many brokers are able to give the full attention to detail or expert advice that is required to create a deal of this complexity.”

Eugenio Perez concluded, “CRS concentrate on us as a customer rather than as an insurance deal. It’s always reassuring to see CRS put the company’s, the play’s, the cast and the crew’s best interest at heart.  We also look forward to working with them on the production of more episodes of our hit Rastamouse”

The pilot phase of the Broken Time production has already taken England by storm and is due to tour again at venues and theatres around the UK in late 2012 and early 2013.
