North Bristol fringe showing signs of improvement as pharmacy giant moves in

Cedar House, Almondsbury

Well Pharmacy – one of the largest independent chains in the country – is on the move to Cedar House in Almondsbury following a deal brokered by Bruton Knowles.

Paul Williams acquired the ground floor suite on behalf of Bestway Pharmacy (Well) who have taken a new five year FRI lease with a three year tenant-only break option.

Well Pharmacy has more than 800 stores around the country.

Paul Williams said the modern courtyard setting was less than a mile from the M5 junction and just 15 minutes from the city centre.

The modern open plan building at Fountain Court also offers nine on-site parking spaces.

“Bestway acquired the suite to relocate the former Co-op Pharmacy admin office from Avonmouth, following the sale of the Co-op Pharmacy business there. We acquired the refurbished ground floor office suite of 1,961 sq ft  after considering a number of available properties in the area.

“Our clients key requirements were on-site parking, value for money, and easy access to the motorway network, and Fountain Court ticked all the boxes.”

Burston Cook acted for the landlords, Wadehurst Investments Ltd, who are continuing to market further refurbished suites on the estate.
