Eighth consecutive win for property team

For the eighth consecutive year, national commercial property consultancy, Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH), has been awarded the ‘Most Active National Agents in Hertfordshire’ accolade from leading property trade publication, Estates Gazette.

The national publication’s annual ‘Deals Done’ competition recognises the number of office, industrial, retail and investment property deals completed across the county in the last 12 months.

Nigel Palmer, Head of LSH’s Hertfordshire team, based in St Albans, commented:  “Over the last 12 months we have completed 66 transactions, spanning office, industrial, development land, retail and investment deals. This equates to more than 600,000 sq ft of commercial space in the region – a real achievement in a recovering but volatile market.”

Nigel added: “Every transaction that is completed fuels a bank of data and intelligence that, in turn, allows the team to advise clients on their future property decisions. Commercial property owners and occupiers always demand that in-depth local and regional market insight, and the current economic climate puts that demand even higher on the agenda. To therefore win this well-regarded industry award in each of the eight years that the regional competition has been running, is testament to the strength and experience of the team, and the valuable knowledge we are able to give our clients.”

In the last 12 months LSH’s Hertfordshire agency teams have been behind some of the county’s most prominent commercial property deals and instructions, including the appointment as joint agents by BT/Telereal Trillium on 95,000 sq ft offices at Westside, Apsley, Hemel Hempstead. In addition, the team has led the successful letting of more than 43,000 sq ft of industrial space to seven tenants at North Orbital Commercial Park in St Albans for CBRE Investors, and are currently marketing a portfolio of surplus accommodation for Hertfordshire Police Authority.

With the recent addition to the Agency team of Matthew Cox, who joins Claire Madden and Ian Partridge, the LSH team is well placed to provide comprehensive property advice to clients covering agency, valuation, investment and lease advisory services in addition to its strong public sector offering.
