New qualification for rural property specialist

Rural property specialist Adam Jaeban, of chartered surveyors Andrew Granger & Co, has recently passed his Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) to become a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS).

Membership has allowed Adam to join the Valuer Registration Scheme, enabling him to conduct “red book” valuations in addition to his current work in sales, management and professional consultancy as part of the Rural Department, based in the firm’s Loughborough Office.

The qualification required two years’ industry experience, written submissions and undergoing an interview including a presentation to the examiners.

Completion of the qualification means the team now have another chartered surveyor to add to the ranks, further cementing their professionalism and property expertise throughout the Midlands.

Rupert Harrison, Joint Managing Director at Andrew Granger & Co said, “At Andrew Granger & Co we pride ourselves on all our surveyors being chartered. Completion of the APC means Adam will be able to provide a high standard of service to our customers, something which we feel is very important.”

Adam, who joined Andrew Granger & Co in 2013, said “I’m delighted to have passed first time round and I look forward to further increasing my professional standing within the company and hopefully the clients will see the difference.”

The firm, which celebrated 25 years in the property and planning sector last year, has teams of surveyors, valuers and planning experts based in Market Harborough, Leicester and Loughborough.
