Myddelton & Major hits a hat trick

A commercial property consultancy covering the central southern region has won the title of Most Active Agency in Wiltshire for the third year running.

Myddelton & Major successfully completed the treble when it received the coveted honour from Estates Gazette, the weekly and online ‘bible’ of the UK commercial property industry.

The Salisbury-based specialist claimed the hat-trick for the highest number of retail, office and industrial deals across the county over the past 12 months.

Partners Philip Holford, Dean Speer and Simon Lee, senior surveyor Rachael Ward and agency administrator Jody Williams are among the 12-strong commercial team who now have a third certificate to hang in their office.

Dean said: “To receive a third successive accolade for best performing property agent from Estates Gazette, the weekly ‘bible’ for the national property sector, recognises all of the very hard work by our dedicated staff who strive to consistently deliver the highest possible service in advising, marketing and representing our clients across all sectors of the commercial property.

“It has been a pleasure to successfully complete so many transactions to bring more businesses into Wiltshire or help existing companies expand as we see the local and national economy strengthen and confidence return to the market.”

He added: “We are looking forward to helping more clients in 2015 and are determined to maintain our place as the most trusted advisor in Wiltshire for the commercial property market.”

More than 150 deals were completed by the team in 2014, covering some 250,000 sq ft of commercial space in Wiltshire.

Successful deals included new lettings at Minton House on the Minton Distribution Park in Amesbury and the sale of Enterprise House, Salisbury’s principal serviced office complex, on the Boathouse Meadow Business Park.

Myddelton & Major acted for the Co-operative Group when it sold its former store in Amesbury to leading national builder McCarthy & Stone for 33 retirement apartments and retail space.
