Bruton Knowles welcomes two new arrivals

The Birmingham office of property consultancy Bruton Knowles has expanded its team with two new appointments.

Adrian Walsh has joined to head up the firm’s building consultancy team, having spent the last eight years as an associate at Gerald Eve. He will be responsible for developing the department’s existing services and general management of the team.

He specialises in project consultancy, commercial dilapidations disputes and pre-acquisition and due diligence advice. Adrian has previously worked for clients with large property holdings including Travis Perkins Group, Whitbread Group and NHS Property Services.

Yvonne Whelan has been appointed as facilities manager in Bruton Knowles’ property management team.

Yvonne previously spent seven years at Lambert Smith Hampton, where she worked for clients including Primary Health Care and Mapeley Columbus.

Ian Pitt, partner and head of Bruton Knowles’ Birmingham office, said: “We have continued to go from strength to strength over the last year and these latest appointments will enable us to grow and expand the business further.

“Adrian and Yvonne bring with them a great amount of knowledge and experience in the industry and we are happy to welcome them to the team.”

In addition to Adrian and Yvonne’s appointment, Jim Whiteman has been promoted from senior surveyor to associate.

Jim joined the firm’s building surveying team in February this year. He specialises in project management, development appraisals, asset management, acquisition surveys and dilapidation consultancy, working for clients including Boropex Holdings Limited and Funding Circle.
