Paramount Interiors Become First Company to Retain ONS Framework

Paramount Interiors has become the first company ever to retain the fit-out and refurbishment framework for the Office of National Statistics (ONS).

The Cardiff headquartered company recently beat off competition from eight other contractors including several major national office design and fit-out companies, to win the substantial six figure contract for a further two years.

Paramount has worked with the ONS for the past 2 years and has provided a wide range of services from supplying office furniture, lighting, flooring and internal building to electrical work, drainage, demolition and excavation work. The new extended agreement will see Paramount continue to provide work alongside ONS’ project management team at MITIE technical facilities management to provide all of the fit-out and refurbishment requirements for the ONS’ three offices in London, Titchfield and Newport.

Richard Jones, Senior Project Manager at Paramount said, “It’s a testament to the quality of the team we have at Paramount and the work that they have done for the ONS over the past two years, that we have been able to retain such a prestigious and important client. We were up against some serious national players in the office design and fit-out sectors during the tender process, so it is extremely satisfying that we were chosen to continue on the ONS framework.”

Paramount Interiors is this year celebrating its 25th birthday, having been established in 1989 by its Managing Director, Nigel Roberts. It employs 31 staff at its ShowOffice in Cardiff and in 2013 opened a new office in Central London to service its London based client. The company specialises in office design, fit-out and furniture and works with many of the UK’s top brands including ITV, 118 118, KPMG and Go Compare.
