GVA’s mission possible raises cash for LandAid

Staff at the Bristol office of independent property adviser GVA all took to learning a new skill as part of a fundraising day entitled Mission Possible, in aid of the property industry’s charity, LandAid.

Over the course of a day 32 members of staff attended workshops on basic First Aid training, how to do the perfect manicure, and GVA director and chair of the board of Trustees at Bristol Zoo, Richard Clarke, gave a fascinating seminar on the Zoo’s history.

GVA challenged staff in all its offices throughout the UK to learn a new skill – as well as the activities in Bristol, workshops from pasta making, wine tasting and jewellery making were held. In total, the company raised £2,000 for LandAid.

LandAid is a charity supported by the property industry, with companies involved in commercial and residential property construction, consultancy, law and design. It provides financial and technical support to charities that positively impact on the lives and potential of disadvantaged young people in the UK.
