Herbert R Thomas (HRT) has expanded its commercial department with the appointment of a new Chartered Surveyor.
John Jones joins from Ashtenne Industrial Fund where he asset managed a portfolio of commercial properties throughout Wales and the South West.
With over 13 years’ experience in commercial agency, John is well versed in handling complex acquisitions, lettings and disposals of commercial property, giving advice to both landlords and tenants on asset management and relocations strategies as well as advising on commercial development.
A fluent Welsh speaker, John has an honours degree from the University of Glamorgan (now University of South Wales) and is a Member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors.
John will work alongside James Mordecai in the HRT commercial team to provide commercial advice across the industrial, office, retail and development sectors. Working from HRT’s Cowbridge and Neath offices, John will work with clients across South, Mid and West Wales on a portfolio which includes such properties as the Vale Business Park, Llandow Trading Estate and Rassau Industrial Estate.
