Highcross, owners of Woodlands Court, provide space for Woods Estate Agents to grow

Bristol estate agent Woods has chosen Woodlands Court Business Park in Almondsbury as the location for new offices for its growing lettings business.

Woods has taken a 2,800 sq ft refurbished building at Woodlands Court, which will service their five office regional network and will deal with the property management of over 1,000 residential houses and flats. Woods have offices at Clevedon, Portishead, Westbury-on-Trym, Bradley Stoke, and Yate.

Owned by Highcross, the 38,000 sq ft Woodlands Court is an attractive and established office scheme comprising ten, single storey properties set in a landscaped courtyard.

Woods agreed a five year lease with Highcross, at a rental of £14.50 psf. Property adviser GVA acted for Highcross, while Williams Gunter Hardwick represented Woods.

Debbie Marshall, Asset Manager for Highcross, says, “The fact that Woods, a well-known Bristol property company, has chosen Woodlands Court is testament to the quality and strength of the business park. We’re delighted that Woods is to become part of our community here at Woodlands Court.”

Richard Kidd, Director at GVA, says, “There are more opportunities coming up over the next six months for companies who, like Woods, are looking to take modern office space within this attractive business environment but with direct access to the M4/M5 interchange. Highcross are planning to fully refurbish buildings to provide high quality office space with open plan floor plates in buildings ranging from 2,500 sq ft to 9,472 sq ft.”

Doug Wood, Managing Partner of Woods, adds, “We know we will feel very welcome at Woodlands Court – the location of the park is well situated for a company doing business in and around Bristol, and Highcross were able to refurbish the building to fit our needs. With the two Woods coming together, it must be a recipe for success.”

Highcross is a property fund manager with more than 19 million sq ft of industrial and office space across the UK; 4,500 occupiers and £1bn of assets under management.
