Dukes Bailiffs breaks the language barrier

Dukes Bailiffs is continuing to set new standards in the Collection and Enforcement industry with the implementation of an international interpreting service.

The Stone-based company is the first bailiff to sign up for Language Line Services Telephone Interpreting Service (TIS) giving their bailiffs access to over-the-phone interpreters.

The company’s representatives can call a dedicated number on their mobile phones connecting them to a professional interpreter within 39 seconds.  Once briefed the interpreter speaks to the debtor to explain the situation and then reports back to the bailiff to secure a positive outcome.

Language Line Services is the largest provider of telephone interpretation in the World, connecting businesses to interpreters speaking over 170 languages 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. 

Dukes also has access to other key services, including a translation and localisation service, face to face interpreters and a transcription service catering for partially sighted, blind or hard of hearing customers converting documents into large print, Braille or audio.
