Charity secures larger offices to support growth

A Nottingham-based charity that funds healthcare and education initiatives in developing countries has moved to a larger office to accommodate its plans to support more people.

Al Ain International Welfare Trust has signed a five-year lease for 113 North Gate – a 3,931 sq ft commercial property in New Basford.

National commercial property consultancy Lambert Smith Hampton’s (LSH) Nottingham office acted on behalf of the charity to find its new premises.

The two-storey property, a former textile workshop, is situated in a prominent position facing North Gate – a popular commercial area just north of Nottingham city centre.

Will Bradley, surveyor at LSH, said: “The new office at North Gate provides ample space for the charity to expand its team. This will ensure it can continue to help people in developing countries as well as funding more initiatives.”

Established in 2003, Al Ain International Welfare Trust’s primary objective was to provide free eye care to people suffering from treatable blindness and other eye related diseases. More recently, the Trust has extended its objectives to cater for basic healthcare and education in developing countries.

LSH is a national commercial property consultancy that works with investors, developers and occupiers across the public and private sectors, and it is single-mindedly focused on UK and Irish property markets.
