Freeth Cartwright appoints new managing partner for head office

Julian-MiddletonFreeth Cartwright has appointed a new Managing Partner of its Nottingham Office.

Julian has been with Freeth Cartwright since 1991 and became a partner in 1996. He was formerly Managing Partner of the

firm’s Leicester office and his particular expertise is in employment law.

Julian Middleton said: “This is an extremely exciting time to be coming in as managing partner. I began my career in Freeth’s

Head Office in Nottingham and the firm has a long proud history here. I am really looking forward to helping the office continue

to grow and develop as a leading national practice from its strong commercial background at the heart of Nottingham.”

Over half of the firm’s 600-strong workforce is based at the Nottingham office, the largest in the Freeth Cartwright Group.

1st February saw the firm join forces with one of the largest law firms in the Thames Valley, Oxford-based Henmans; a move

which increased the network to 10 offices nationally with a total revenue of approximately £50m.

Freeth Cartwright is the 68th largest law firm in the UK and also operates from offices in Birmingham, Derby, Leicester, London,

Manchester, Milton Keynes, Sheffield and Stoke on Trent.
