Aberdeen-based Knight Property Group announces the completion of Pavilion 2 at Prospect Park, Westhill for BlueSky Business Space, a Chess Group plc company. The four storey pavilion represents an overall investment of around £7million by the local developer, with a further £600K spent by BlueSky on the internal fit out.
BlueSky will relocate to the bespoke property from its existing 12,500 sq ft building at Westpoint Business Park, Westhill. Pavilion 2 will allow the company to expand its serviced office space by 10,000 sq ft, with the premises covering at total of 22,000 sq ft. Around 25 SMEs will move from Pavilion 3 at Westpoint Business Park, which Knight Property Group has re-let to AMEC Group who take occupation upon completion of the BlueSky relocation.
James Barrack, managing director and chairman of Knight Property Group, which is leasing the property to BlueSky on a 15 year pre-let said: “Our aim with the development of Pavilion 2 was to meet the needs of BlueSky and its tenants, providing flexible office space which is of an extremely high specification.
“We are very pleased with the end result and are confident that the additional space will enable BlueSky to meet the ever increasing demand for fully serviced office space in Westhill. This is a key milestone in the development of Prospect Park, work on the final pavilion is progressing well and is on schedule to be completed by August 2013.”

We have invested significantly on the internal fit out of the building incorporating new technologies including, touch-screen TV’s for visitors signing in and out of the building, remote access door control facilities and the latest video conferencing technology and excellent broadband and telephony services.
“Pavilion 2 will enable us to extend the facilities we provide to SMEs, including extra meeting rooms and seminar space, along with a much larger cafeteria. This is an exciting move for BlueSky and we have worked closely with Knight Property Group to ensure a smooth transition from our previous building.”
